Chattanooga State holds groundbreaking ceremony to mark the official start of construction on the Allied Health building at the main campus of CSTCC.
The facility will house teaching classrooms, labs, auditoriums and meeting facilities. It is expected to increase the college’s enrollment in health science programs to 1,000 from a current capacity of 850. The new facility should allow an increased enrollment of 40 percent in the nursing program.
Construction on the new Allied Health building, a 100,000 square foot health science center, is expected to be complete by spring 2008.
